School gates and classroom doors open at 8.35am, allowing children to enter school.

Staff are on duty from 8.35am. Until this time, children remain the responsibility of their parents or carers.

Classroom doors close at 8.45am, when lessons begin. Children arriving after this time will be recorded as late.

The school day ends at 3.15pm for all pupils.

These times make up the statutory 32.5-hour school week, in line with Department for Education (DfE) guidance.

Additional provision, including Breakfast Club and after-school clubs, is available outside these hours and is offered as extracurricular provision.

 

Nursery children can attend one of two sessions:

• morning 8.35am - 11.35 am
• afternoon 12.30pm - 3.30 pm

Children in Y5 & Y6 are allowed to walk home on their own, once permission has been received from a parent / carer.  

All other children need collecting by an adult (over 18 years of age).
