Upperby CDC (Community Development Centre)

Upperby CDC is a Community Development Centre located on the school site, working in partnership with Upperby Primary School and the local authority. The centre provides opportunities for adult learning, skills development, and community support for families and local residents.

The CDC offers a range of courses, training opportunities, and community-based activities aimed at supporting wellbeing, employability, and lifelong learning. It also acts as a hub for local services and groups, helping to strengthen links between the school, families, and the wider community.

Upperby CDC plays an important role in supporting parents and carers by providing access to learning opportunities and advice, which in turn helps to support children’s education and outcomes.
