KS2 Pupil Voice - We asked our children in Year 3, 4, 5, & 6 which three topics in PSHE they liked best or have enjoyed learning about the most. We also wanted to find out what they would like to learn more about. Here are the results...

79% of Year 3 enjoy learning about Money, how to keep it safe, about the choices we have about how to spend money, how to save money and how we can use money to help others.

30% of Year 3 enjoy learning about online safety, recognising risks, road and travel safety and ways of taking care of themselves and whom to go to when worried or afraid. 

19% of Year 3 enjoy learning about what it means to be a friend, the meaning of fair and unfair, knowing who our special people are and what makes them special, knowing when people are being unkind or hurtful and challenging teasing and bullying.

54% of Year 4 children enjoy learning about what it means to ne a friend, what is fair and unfair, knowing our special people and what makes them special, knowing about how to giver permission to do things, recognising positive and healthy friendships, knowing when people are being unkind or hurtful and challenging teasing and bullying.

52% of Year 4 children enjoy learning about online safety, recognising risks in situations, ways of taking care of ourselves, road and travel safety and whom to go to when they are worried or afraid.

50% of Year 4 children like learning about money; how to keep it safe, choices about how to spend money and save money and how to use money to help others.

68% of Year 5 children enjoy learning about online safety, recognising risks in different situations and how to take care of themselves, recognising and dealing with peer pressure and knowing whom to go to when they are worried, afraid or in danger.

65% of Year 5 children enjoy learning about friendships, fairness and unfairness, knowing about how to give and receive permission, peer pressure, recognising positive and healthy relationships, knowing when people are being unkind or hurtful, challenging teasing and bullying and the difference between offline and online relationships. 

42% of Year 5 children like learning about money; how to keep it safe, choices about how to spend money and how to save, as well as the difference between a want and a need and how we can use money to help others.

50% of our Year 6 children enjoy learning about online safety; risks and dangers presented to them as they get older, recognising risks in different situations, ways of resisting peer pressure and talking care of themselves and whom to go to when they are worried, afraid of in danger.  

45% of our Year 6 children enjoy learning about how to take care of their bodies, the dangers of smoking and alcohol, how medicines and drugs can help us, healthy food choices, physical exercise and taking care of our skin and teeth. 

45% of our Year 6 children like learning about money, how to keep it safe, choices they have when it comes to spending their money, best ways to save and the difference between a want and a need and  how we can use money to help others.
